Thrift Shopping Quickie...

Quick Thrift store shopping expedition late this afternoon--cut short by closing time. Boohoo.

$6 netted me 4 window valances each 80" wide, brand new linen-type cotton, enough for the bedroom window and a huge pile of pillows; knitting needles; and a hardback quilting book filled with far too many new projects.

More soup

 Dinner.  Homemade bread and soup with 15 bean mix, onions, carrots, celery, ham, cabbage, green peppers, a sprinkle of chili seasoning, thyme, and nutmeg and ginger. It was yum yum yum! :-)
